Commodity Currencies

Commodity currencies refer to the Australian dollar (AUD, aud), the Canadian dollar(CAD, cad), and the New Zealand dollar (NZD, nzd) in forex trading. Australia, Canada, and New Zealand are major producers of commodities such as gold or oil, and the value of their currencies are often influenced by prices of those commodities.
