Morning StarA three-candle chart pattern for bullish reversal in candlestick charting. An morning star consists of a black (red or shaded) candle, a second candle (the star) that has a shorter body but falls lower than the first one, and a third white (green or not shaded) candle that closes above the median of the first candle's body. See also evening star.
